Frequently Asked Questions about Training
Everything you need to know before choosing your educational pathway.
Do I need prior experience to get started?
Not for all pathways. Introductory programs are suitable for new professionals, while Advanced Movement Principles™ is designed for experienced instructors.
What is the difference between Balanced Body® training and Mentoring?
Balanced Body® offers official, structured education and certification. Mentoring focuses on the practical development of your teaching skills and does not replace official certification.
Can I complete the modules step by step?
Yes. The educational pathway can be completed in stages, depending on official prerequisites and availability.
What additional hours are required?
The required Observation Hours are 15 hours for Mat, 30 hours for Reformer, and 45 hours for Comprehensive. In addition, personal practice, student teaching, and the respective written and practical assessments are required.
Is Advanced Movement Principles™ only for Balanced Body instructors?
Not necessarily. It is also available to comprehensively trained instructors from other recognized schools, provided they meet the official prerequisites.
